Every year, the Journées de l'Estampe Contemporaine bring together graphic art enthusiasts, wether artists or collectors.

This year, 300 participants will be there to allow you to admire engravings on metal, wood, lino and Plexiglas, as well as lithographs, serigraphs and digital images.

I am delighted to be taking part and sharing a stand with Echo (Isabelle Lin) and Soves deir Roge. As printmakers, we specialise in relief printmaking; our inspirations and artistic approaches are very different: come and meet us!

About us...

Echo is an illustrator and printmaker. In her images, she seeks to evoke a sense of wonder and calm. She works in linocut, drypoint, mokuhanga and silkscreen, with influences from Art Nouveau and Japanese prints - echo on Instagram.

Soves deir Rorge is a linocut artist specialising in entomological engravings and the lost plate technique. Through her work, she seeks to make the world of science accessible, raise awareness of environmental issues, question our relationship with life and encourage the preservation of biodiversity. She works mainly with traditional French papers, such as those from Moulin du Got.

At the same time, she explores other species and creates illustrations inspired by marvellous tales, fantasy and heroic fantasy - Soves deir Roge on Instagram.

In her linocuts, Florence Jalice aims to capture the atmosphere and emotion of a landscape rather than its precise elements. The works invite quiet contemplation. Each print invites the viewer to slow down and savour the beauty of nature in its silence and clarity - Florence Jalice on Instagram.

We look forward to meeting you and sharing our passion for printmaking with you: see you soon!
