Printmaking exhibition “estampes d’ici et d’ailleurs”: rendez-vous in Le Mans from 13th to 28th September 2025

A cultural printmaking event organised by the association Le Hangar à papier

Following the success of the first edition in 2024, the association Le Hangar à papier is once again organising ‘Estampes d’ici et d’ailleurs’, a collective exhibition bringing together 32 professional printmakers, including nine from abroad.

Special guest: Pol Autom, Belgium.

Two printmakers will share their artists' books, and two 'bouquinistes' will take visitors on a journey through time, from the 19th century illustrated with original prints to contemporary editions.

I will be in attendance on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September, as well as Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September: let me know if you are coming along during any of these times!

Evening events:

• Friday, 19th September, 6pm - 9.30pm: meeting with Roger Blaquière on lino painting and calligraphy.

• Friday, 26th September, 6pm - 9.30pm: discussion with Christian Enault on printmaking and perspectives.
